The most popular paper flowers that Miss Poppins creates are the roses which take approximately an hour to make. They begin as a stem of florist wire which is wrapped in floral tape and the tip is bent into a bud shape with cotton wool balls and more floral tape. 

All the petals are hand cut from various papers that range from 100 to 200 gsm, depending on the type of rose. These petals are curled and cupped to create a realistic petal shape, and then attached to the wire bud shape with hot glue. 

Double layered 180 gsm Italian crepe paper is then carefully hand cut and glued with tacky glue to form the leaves, calyx and bract, then the stem is wrapped with strips of crepe paper and all the parts are carefully attached to form the beloved rose.

Once all of this information is received, a quote will be sent to you as soon as possible. Depending on the workload and your requirements, custom orders currently take approximately 2 to 8 weeks. Rush orders may incur an additional fee, and a 50% deposit may be required. Photographs will be sent for your approval before your order is shipped and any additional changes may also incur an additional fee.

Although the absolute favourite flower to make is a garden rose as its the most romantic flower, Miss Poppins can also make tulips, asiatic lilies, calla lilies, sunflowers, camellias, daisies, daffodils and bougainvillaeas. Most of these flowers are available to look at on Instagram. Other custom flowers may be available upon request, so please contact Miss Poppins for more information.

All paper flowers are carefully packaged with tissue paper, placed inside a gift box, wrapped in bubble wrap, and then shipped in a poly mailer satchel with fragile tape for extra protection.

Unfortunately not at this stage sorry. The vase in the photographs was sourced from a thrift store.

GIFT SERVICE

All paper flowers are carefully packaged with tissue paper and placed inside a white gift box with lid and tied off with an elegant black satin bow and Miss Poppins and Me gift tag. For extra protection the box is then wrapped in bubble wrap, and shipped in a poly mailer satchel with fragile tape.

Yes please! Include your message in the shopping basket details and this will be neatly handwritten on a white business card sized Miss Poppins and Me gift tag and included in your order. Please note that due to the limited size of the tag, the message must be no longer than 250 characters, and include a to/from name if you so desire.

SHIPPING

All orders shipped within Australia, New Zealand and North America via standard post have free shipping. 

Express shipping is an additional $5 within Australia, $10 AUD to New Zealand or $20 AUD to North America and can be added in your shopping cart.

All paper flowers are handmade just for you with lots of love and care, so please allow 1-4 business days while your creation blooms.You will receive a tracking number as soon as it's on its way with Australia Post so you can keep a close eye on the arrival of your order.

Local pick ups are not available sorry, but orders are quickly made and shipped via Australia Post within 1-4 business days.

An address can only be changed if the order has not been shipped, so please contact Miss Poppins immediately with your order number and correct address. If your order has shipped, please contact your postal service with your tracking number to verify if you can redirect your parcel to the correct address.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, the buyer is responsible for paying the return shipping costs to resend to the correct address. Please note that Miss Poppins is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address.

Please contact Miss Poppins at hello (at) misspoppinsandme.com with your order number, photos of the damaged box and contents immediately so a resolution can be made as quickly as possible for you.

 

To receive a refund or replacement, you may also need to retain all damaged items, packaging and contents to assist Miss Poppins with making an urgent claim with the postal service, as these requirements vary between countries.

Most late parcels arrive within 5 business days of their expected delivery date, so please firstly check that you have provided the correct shipping address. Please be aware that some parcels may be delayed by COVID-19 disruptions.

 

Orders shipping within Australia can be deemed as lost if they have not arrived within 15 business days of the expected delivery date, within 20 business days of the expected delivery date for international orders or 5 business days for express or courier orders.

 

If your order is lost, please contact Miss Poppins with your order number and she will do her best to rectify the situation. Please note that if the tracked item is marked as delivered by Australia Post but did not arrive, Miss Poppins will not be held responsible.

Buyers are responsible for any international customs and import taxes that may apply on the arrival of your goods. Miss Poppins is not responsible for delays due to customs.

Miss Poppins is continuing to operate during the COVID-19 pandemic with health and safety precautions. However, please be aware that shipping is outside of her control, and due to flight cancellations and government restrictions, your order may take longer than normal to arrive. You will receive a tracking number when your order is shipped so you can keep a close eye on its arrival.

If you don't need your order by Christmas, the last date to place an order this year is 14th December, and Miss Poppins will be away on holidays from 17th December 2022 to 3rd January 2023.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

If you have ordered an anniversary rose in the wrong colour or year, and it is not a custom order, Miss Poppins will accept a return on these items if contacted within the first 14 days of delivery, and will refund the full purchase price (less shipping charges if applicable) when the item is received in its original condition. You will just need to cover the cost of shipping, and this includes both domestic and international orders. 

Please note that a refund is not available for change of mind or for not reading a product description properly prior to purchasing (please note that all anniversary roses are made to order from paper sourced specifically to match each anniversary tradition).

As every paper flower is made to order, Miss Poppins will not accept exchanges. However, please contact Miss Poppins directly with your order number within the first 14 days of delivery if you have made a genuine mistake (e.g. ordering for the wrong anniversary). If an exchange is approved, you will just need to place a new order, cover the cost of return shipping for your original order (this includes both domestic and international orders) and your previous order will be refunded upon receiving it in its original condition.

Please note that custom orders cannot be refunded or exchanged. 

If an order has been made in error (e.g. the wrong anniversary), and the paper flower has not been made and shipped yet, your order can be cancelled if agreed upon by both Miss Poppins and the buyer. If your order has already shipped, you will need to refuse delivery and wait for it to be returned to Miss Poppins in its original condition to qualify for a refund.
